Named after Arachne. An extremely gifted woman of Roman mythology. She was such a talented weaver the Goddess Athena herself challenged her to a weave off. Arachne won by making the most divine tapestry the world has ever seen. Athena was furious and transformed Arachne into a spider. But she’s not bothered. She gets to spend all day doing her favourite thing, weaving.
